Field Trial Gundog Training 2012

Gundog Handler from £65/day
Guns from £15/bird, Vermin FOC.

Field Trial training days are only suitable for handlers and gundogs who have acheived a Grade 2 standard. Field Trial training days are similar to a normal shooting day,  but the focus is on training your gundog, not the shooting.

For the less experienced we will use cold game.

Field Trial training days are a great way to introduce your gundog to field work without the worry of your gundog misbehaving on a normal shoot day.

Typical participants have aspirations to get involved with the beating line, picking up, driven shooting, rough shooting, working tests or field trial competitions.

Field Trial Training days carry a greater health and safety risk to you and your dog as live amunition is used, you are advised to obtain insurance cover for yourself and your gundog, against serious injury and death.

Please read the Health & Safety Statement before booking on the day.

If you are not prepared to accept these risks then you should not participate in these field trial training days.
