Pre Training Assessment

Personal 1:1 Gundog Training
1:1 Training sessions of approx 1 hour can be booked anytime 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm (Summer time). A course of 6 weeks guarantees a regular time slot and discount (Summer time). Private booking Form
Residential Gundog Training

Residential Training consists of a 6 weeks course from puppy to advance work, dogs must be a minimum of 9 months of age and need to be individually assessed before a course is undertaken, owners and handlers will need 1:1 training after completion of residential course. A well bahaved dog will only remain so, through discipline, reward & exercise, being consistent is key to good performance.
Residential Top Up Training
Residential Top Up Training is only available to exisiting clients who have previously booked residential top up, 1:1 or group training within the last 12 months and is available on a day by day basis (10am to 10am) for owners who wish us to maintain thier gundog obedience, whilst they are on holiday or away from home. This facility is not to advance current training only to maintain what has already been established. Residential Top Up Booking Form .

Group Gundog Training

Almost all new owners to gundogs, will need some support training their gundog, which can some times be a long and lonely journey, we suggest you research as much as possible, through books, video and dvd's, you will then have a better understanding, when you eventually participate in some structured training.

We provide a structured training programme, tought by Instructors who understand the difficulties of not only training a gundog, but understand the difficulties and complexieities of training a handler, who primarily want a well behaved pet, fit for function, but does not always want to participate in shooting or field trials.
Motivation
It can be hard to stay motivated when you are training alone. All our group gundog training sessions will revitalise your training, and get you back on track, with some serious training and light hearted humour. Taking part in our Structured Training Scheme with its unique non-competitive awards is highly motivating and great fun.
Professional Advice
We have trained over 400 hundred gundogs in the last 2 years and some weeks have 55 gundogs in for training. This experience is invaluable, for the variety of problems which can occur.
Learning to work in a group
Sooner or later, you will need to teach your dog how to behave amongst other dogs. Our group gundog training sessions enable your dog to learn to focus on you even whilst other dogs are around.
Training Facilities
Our facilities are developing all the time, all our group gundog training sessions have access to some of the best training grounds in the East Midlands from Arable Crops, Woodlands, Ponds & Lakes, Set Aside, Secure Paddocks and in the shooting season we provide field work training days so your your dog develop its full potential. Training in a different environments is essential for your gundog to make real progress.
