An enjoyable non competitive learning environment,
 producing gundogs fit for function regardless of pedigree status or breeding.
 
Group Training Sessions are available for
 graded training, water training, cold game training and field trial training 
 

Graded Group Gundog Training

We provide graded group gundog training for dogs of all ages providing they are at least 6 months of age, we welcome older dogs on the understanding they may be extra training sessions. Group Training is considered more affordable, than 1:1 training, it is sometimes considered more socialable for both dog and handler. These courses offer a structured number of training tasks over 7 weeks with the option of an independant assessment in the 8th week. Group Courses should not be selected on the basis of provided more distraction for your dog, distractions can be both an advantage or disadvantage depending on your dogs temperament and ability. Our trainer can always provided distraction work outside of group sessions.

Group Water Training



 

Group gundog water training days are available from March to August each year.

 

 

Training is split into 2 Groups either Grades 1 & 2 and Grades 3 & 4.

 

 

Grades 1 & 2 cover introduction into water and basic retrieves without distractions.

 

Grades 3 & 4 cover exercises mostly over water, steadiness to other dogs, distractions and difficult entry.

  

 

Group Cold Game Training




Group cold game gundog training days are normally available from August to October as an introduction to preparing your gundog for a shooting or field trial environment

 

 

These gundog training days are invaluable to the more experienced gundog handler, although a number of our beginners have used these days to improve their gundogs steadiness to fallen game and honoring other working gundogs.
